Our history

On January 18, 2012, the UC Innovation Center’s Groundbreaking Ceremony took place, with the attendance of Government, academic and corporate authorities.

On October 17, 2012, the inaugural session of the Anacleto Angelini UC Innovation Center’s Board of Advisors was held.

In September 2013, the program for Founding Partners began, with the purpose of establishing the foundations for the relationship between the Center and the productive world. These were: Sonda, Hunter Douglas, Mutual de Seguridad CChC, Tecnocal, Ingeniería y Construcciones Salas Hermanos, Transforme Consultores, GNL Quintero, Procorp, Optimisa, Oppici, Agrosuper, Carozzi, Movix, Hookah, QiN Technology and Frutos del Maipo.

On June 6, 2014, the inauguration ceremony of the UC Innovation Center took place, headed by the President of the Republic, Michelle Bachelet.

The construction of the UC Innovation Center was possible thanks to an important donation of 15 million dollars by the Angelini Group, made in 2012, when physical construction and the strategic project began. It currently has a self-funding model.
