About the program

An initiative of the Anacleto Angelini UC Innovation Center that seeks to support interdisciplinary research and innovation projects with economic, social and/or environmental impact potential, led by UC researchers.

The program seeks the participation of professors, private and/or public sector executives who, by means of original proposals, help to strengthen UC’s contribution to the development of the country.

Project for the design of constructive systems based on the handling of the mycelium form of wood-decomposing native fungi, using wood industry and agricultural industry byproducts and waste as a substrate. Head Professor: Francisco Chateau (Faculty of Architecture, Design and Urban Studies).

Technological startup promoted by the Faculties of Engineering and Medicine, consisting in a simulation instrument that enables better training for health sector professionals and technicians, regarding the execution of blood extraction and intravenous line placement.

What does the program offer?

Collaborative workspace on the 9th floor of the UC Innovation Center. Possibility to carry out a seminar on the project in collaboration with the Center in our auditoriums.

Access to seminars, workshops and networking activities that are part of the UC Innovation Center’s activity program.

Guidance on the capture of resources, prospecting of R&D projects, and connection with the entrepreneurial ecosystem and partner companies.

Support on dissemination and positioning.

What kind of project can apply?

Exploration: Program for prospecting and generating initial connections for the development of interdisciplinary projects among professors and/or UC faculties.

Spin-Off: Program for already established projects or that seek to establish as a UC Spin-off.

UC Centers: Programs for interdisciplinary UC Centers in the process of being created or established, with a focus on the prospecting of R&D with the Industry projects.

What are the requirements for application?

Interdiscipline: Having the formal support of at least 2 UC Faculties.

Connection with the environment: Having the support of at least 1 public and/or private entity.

UC Researchers: The applicant must be a professor or a doctoral or post-graduate UC student.

When are the applications?

Twice a year, once every semester.
